One of ten competitively selected early career musicians attending the MishMash Insight project. Learning the skills needed to co-create an engaging project for young people, received mentoring from an expert team and delivered our own project. Training took place at Nottingham University over a 5-day residential course, to develop a 2-day project to engage young people with classical music. Producing a high-quality music activity for children and young people. Training helped build communication, collaboration, teamwork and performance skills, while also building our skills and confidence in co-creation, creative development, inclusive practice and creating work for Early Years. Performing to four audiences in three Primary Schools in Beeston, Nottingham a total audience of more than 350 children concluded the project.
